With belled brass barrel signed and engraved with acanthus foliage at the breech, engraved grooved brass tang, signed border engraved rounded lock (some pitting, signature refreshed), figured walnut full stock with raised apron at the barrel tang, cast and chased brass mounts comprising trophy of arms side-plate and escutcheon, the latter engraved with a coat-of-arms, engraved trigger-guard, the finial formed as a basket of flowers, and grotesque mask cap, single brass ramrod-pipe, and original brass-capped ramrod with worm, London proof marks
