With rebrowned octagonal sighted barrels engraved with a band of chevron ornament at the rear and with gold-lined touch-holes, engraved case-hardened tangs, signed cased-hardened detented bevelled locks each with roller, safety-catch, and engraved stepped tail, the inner mechanisms with much original blue, figured walnut stocks, engraved blued iron trigger-guards each with pineapple finial, blued set triggers, blued ramrod-pipes, original ramrods, one with worm and one with powder measure, and much original finish: in original lined and fitted oak case with accessories including three-way flask covered in red leather, the lid with flush-fitting carrying handle, and illustrated trade label for circa 1786-1808
