The frosted gilt three-quarter plate movement with bimetallic balance jewelled to the centre with screwed chatons, further engraved By Warrant to H.M. the Late Queen Victoria, repeating on two gongs by operating a slide in the band, the off-white enamel "Willis" dial with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds, blued steel spade hands, in plain heavy gold case with five-piece hinges, engraved monogram to the front, hinged cuvette, with maker's mark F.T impressed over London for Frederick Thoms, dial and movement signed, movement numbered
