The frosted gilt three-quarter plate movement jewelled to the third with screwed chatons, English lever escapement, bimetallic balance with blued steel hairspring with overcoil, repeating the half-quarters on two gongs by operating a slide in the band, the white enamel dial with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds, blued steel spade hands, the half hunter case chased and engraved overall, the back cover decorated with a diamond and enamel insignia of The Star of India, dial and movement signed
