The waved scrolled toprail flanked by ebonised ball finials and with central triangular pediment, the rounded arms with patera supported by entasised columns, the dished sliding front-rail with pine sides, on block feet, lacking boxspring and mattress, two ball finials lacking

Lot Essay

This pull-out bed, also known as a 'Gustavian' bed, is closely related to an example from Falun, Darlana, which is illustrated in S. Erixon, Möbler Och Heminzedning i Svenska Bygder, Stockholm, 1925, vol. I, p. 86, fig. 129.
