A DIRECTOIRE MAHOGANY COMMODE
The eared rectangular white-veined grey marble top above three panelled frieze-drawers and two long drawers flanked by rounded fluted angles, on fluted turned tapering legs with waisted neck and terminating in brass caps, stamped twice 'H', the top drawer inscribed '12338 Garnier..Her..Gir. B. B. Eoo', the underside of the marble incised 'B' and indistinctly inscribed, with old transport label to marble and back and with depository label 'POPE AND SONS HAMMERSMITH MRS. A. SMITH'
