Inlaid overall with floral marquetry and birds, the rectangular top above a slanting writing-slope with reading-support, enclosing to the reverse a green baize-lined writing-surface flanked by two floral ovals and with eight drawers, six pigeon-holes and a central door concealing a further drawer and a recess, the sliding top concealing a well, above two short drawers to either side of the frieze, the lower section of bombé shape with three graduated drawers above a shaped apron and outswept claw feet with pierced foliate brass sabots
