Woven in wools and silks, depicting a wooded landscape with a central tree flanked to the right by a bird and a vista with a large building in the distance, to the left with two ducks in a pond and a further conforming view, flanked to either side by trees on rocky outcrops, to the right with a bird and an associated owl in the tree and to the left with a woodpecker, within a foliate and floral border and associated blue outer slip, the original outer slip underneath the later slip, variously cut and reattached to the centre with small strip lacking, minor reweaving and patching particularly to the left
