Woven in wools and silks, depicting an Emperor on horseback in Roman armour and holding a sword, the foreground with military trophies and two crowns and with trees in the distance, the sky with the laurel-wreath bearing Fame above the Emperor, within a border with floral and foliate columns and military trophies, within a later brown outer slip, reweaving and patching particularly to the corners and borders, reduced in height, with remains of a later blue outer slip beneath the brown slip
