Early 16th Century
Woven in wools and silks, depicting a kneeling nobleman handing a letter to a crowned lady, with further courtly figures behind her and with a young man holding a helmet to the left, with two further courtly figures on horseback and a scene of maidens and courtiers holding swords in the distance, reduced in size, minor reweaving and patching, on a wooden beam
