Inlaid overall with foliate scrolls, the hinged lid centred by a raised panel mounted with a circular clasp with C-scrolls and scallop-shells, the corners mounted with scrolling acanthus, enclosing a fitted interior with variously-sized open compartments and two secret short drawers, the sides similarly mounted, on circular bun feet, Mexican or Peruvian, minor losses
