Lot Essay

An unusual feature is that although this is a full-plate eight day movement there is no intermediate wheel between the fusee and the centre wheel, i.e. the fusee great wheel meshes directly with the centre wheel pinion.
Henry Frodsham is recorded at 40 Castle Street 1839-1844.
