The case with ball-and-spire finials to the pagoda top with later pierced-wood sound fret, gilt-metal capped and reeded columns, similar ¼ columns flanking the break-arch trunk door, the plinth applied with a raised hollow-cornered panel and on double-skirt feet with a shaped apron, the dial signed Benj. Ward London on the narrow diameter silvered chapter ring with pierced blued steel hands, the matted centre with large diameter subsidiary seconds and calendar rings, strike/silent ring in the arch, the five pillar two-train movement with anchor escapement and strike on bell
