A George III mahogany longcase clock

The case with raised rectangular panel to the double-footed plinth, brass capped and reeded quarter columns flanking the rectangular trunk door, the hood with architectural pediment supported on detached brass-capped and reeded columns, the 12¼ in. silvered engraved dial signed Vulliamy London and numbered No. 209 on the bottom right-hand corner, the Roman and Arabic chapter ring with later blued steel hands, the centre with subsidiary seconds ring with original counterpoised blued steel hand, calendar aperture above VI, strike/silent lever above 60, the five pillar rack striking movement with anchor escapement and strike on bell; original ebonised wood-rod pendulum with brass-cased bob numbered 209 on the back and with calibrated rating nut
