The white enamel Roman chapter disc with blued moon hands and signed E.J. Dent, London within a foliate engraved gilt mask, the four pillar chain fusee movement with Harrison's maintaining power, large gilt underslung lever platform with cut bimetallic compensated balance with flat blued steel hairspring, the backplate signed Dent, London, 10509, the funnel-top case with bevelled glass viewing aperture and folding baluster handle, the shuttered rear plate with unusual lock in the base allowing the plate to slide downwards
