Payne, London within a gilt engine-turned mask, the four pillar twin chain fusee movement with anchor escapement and strike on bell, plain backplate with pendulum holdfast, the case with flush-fitting folding brass handle to the stepped top with ebonized gadrooned moulding, glazed sides, pierced wood soundfret to the back door and on rosewood bun feet
