The arched engine-turned gilt dial with Roman chapter ring and blued moon hands, the five pillar single chain fusee movement with anchor escapement, pendulum holdfast to the plain backplate with signature engraved Widenham 13 Lombard St., the well proportioned case with line and foliate ebony inlay to the arched top with flanking acroteria, the front with ebonized angles with rope-twist brass inlay, the ebonized moulded base on elaborate foliate-scroll bronzed feet
