A GEORGE III MAHOGANY STRIKING BRACKET CLOCK WITH ALARM

The break arch brass dial with silvered Roman and Arabic chapter ring having pierced blued steel hands, the matted centre with calendar aperture and central silvered alarm disc, silvered signature sector engraved Geoe. Rowning, New Market, foliate spandrels, the arch with subsidiary strike/silent ring, the five pillar twin fusee [wire lines] movement with verge escapement and strike on bell, pull wind alarm with foliate engraved pully mounted on the foliate engraved backplate centered with a gadrooned urn filled with flowers and flanked by winged insects, similarly engraved movement securing brackets to the case with handle to the bell top with four pineapple finials, later pierced wood soundfrets to the sides and on brass bracket feet
