The white enamel Roman and Arabic chapter disc with pierced blued steel hands and signed Percival, Old Bond St., London, well-cast foliate spandrels, the florally engraved arch with flanking white enamel subsidiary chapter discs for pendulum regulation and strike/silent, the large five pillar movement with triple chain fusees, quarter-chiming on six bells via six hammers with hour strike on further bell, spring-suspended pendulum fixed to the rise-and-fall block with unusual folding pendulum holdfast fixed to the backplate below engraved Percival London within a floral cartouche, the break arch case with handle to the brass-lined triple pad top, fishscale pierced brass soundfrets to the sides and on brass bracket feet
