The white enamel Roman chapter disc with pierced blued steel heart-shaped hands, signed in the center Dwerrihouse Carter & Son, Berkeley Square, the five pillar twin gut fusee movement with arched plates, anchor escapement, strike on bell on the similarly signed backplate with pendulum holdfast, blued steel strike/silent lever at top left corner, the break arch case with ebony line inlay to the sides with brass rosette-inlaid corners, the simple moulded base on brass ball feet resting on a purpose-made mahogany and ebony-lined wall bracket
