The 12in. sq. dial with Roman and Arabic narrow silvered chapter ring, pierced blued steel hands, wide diameter subsidiary seconds ring in the finely matted centre with calendar aperture and shaped signature plaque engraved Benjn. Gray, Just. Vulliamy, London, foliate spandrels, the five pillar twin train movement with anchor escapement with steel rod pendulum and calibrated rating nut to the brass bob, rack striking on a bell above, the case with architectural pediment supported on fluted stop-chamfered angles, rectangular trunk door, the double-footed plinth with raised rectangular front panel
