The silvered Roman dial within an ormolu bezel finely cast with foliate and trellis decoration, the chapter ring signed Seiberl in Wien, finely sculpted blued steel beetle-and-poker hands, engine-turned centre, the movement with deadbeat escapement and Harrison's maintaining power, steel-rod pendulum with knife-edge suspension from a brass backboard bracket, fine adjustment to the crutch piece, the case with foliate-carved ebonized cresting to the concave-moulded top with similarly carved mouldings, beaded angles, the case terminating with an ebonized foliate-carved and beaded bracket
