Glasgow & Greenock, P/2745, the movement with lightly spotted plates, Earnshaw spring detent escapement with cut bi-metallic compensated balance of Poole's auxilliary-type with blued steel helical balance spring and diamond endstone, chain fusee with maintaining power, the backplate engraved John Poole, Maker to the Admiralty, 57 Fenchurch St., London No. 2745, brass bowl numbered 2745, in a brass-bound three-tier box with vacant signature cartouche to the top and two vacant ivory roundel plaques to the middle and lower section, recessed handles to the sides
