8° (149 x 100mm). Two small woodcuts and border pieces on title. (Several leaves discreetly rehinged, small stain in first leaf.) Modern polished calf gilt, gilt spine.
Modelled on the Eroidi of Ovid, these verses were first published in Florence in 1481/2. Sander identifies the title woodcuts as previously used in the 1491 Aesop. Sander 6008; Essling 1499; Brunet IV, 967.
