etching, 1516, second (final) state, with the rustmarks, trimmed within the platemark but retaining the fillet of blank paper outside the borderline (though losing the tip of the Sudarium at the top), the lower left corner made up and inked in, a printer's crease upper right, a small thin spot visible from the reverse in the left wing of the Angel and upper right, other minor defects
