etching with touches of drypoint, 1635, first state (of two), a good impression, with traces of burr, watermark Foolscap, a small loss at the lower left corner, a nick at the upper sheet edge, the upper left corner tip made up, a few thin patches visible from the reverse, the remains of old tape and associated staining at the reverse left sheet edge, glue staining at the corners where previously laid, laid in two places at the lower right edge
