Lot Essay

Dated 1905 by Jean Leymarie (in the catalogue of the Paris exhibition), the work is dated 1906 by Pierre Daix who compares it to several works executed in Gosol, Spain, in the summer of 1906 (P. Daix, op. cit., no. D XV 1-31, D. XV 7.8.)
