The authenticity of this work was confirmed by François Daulte in a certificate dated Lausanne, Le 20 décembre 1974 where he dates the picture as being executed in 1911 and confirms that it will be included in the forthcoming volume IV of his forthcoming Renoir catalogue raisonné.
