A wooden gilded and polychrome figure of Ptah-Sokar-Osiris
Circa 3rd-1st Century B.C.
Mummiform, with gilded face, blue painted tripartite wig, the red painted body with blue and ochre net pattern, with elaborately decorated broad collar with beads and rosette discs terminating on either side with a falcon head, the ochre-coloured back column with black painted hieroglyphic inscription, an invocation to Ptah-Soker-Osiris to provide offerings for the deceased, some repainting and regilding, wooden peg and dowel hole for feathers and false beard (now missing), mounted
