The main body frieze depicting Herakles wearing characteristic lion's pelt taking the reins and stepping into a quadriga, attended by Athena wearing high crested helmet who stands by the chariot and gesticulates ahead, in front of the horses is Hermes wearing his winged boots and petasos, looking back and gesiculating with his left hand, a draped attendant woman stands in front, a double line of dots above the scene, with five palmettes with scrolling tendrils on the shoulder and tongues at base of neck, details in added purple and white
