A Greek terracotta seated goddess
Early 5th Century B.C.
Sitting on a throne with winged back, her feet on a footstool and hands resting on her knees; two others, similar, with curled hair falling in tresses onto their shoulders, traces of red and dark colouring, one repaired, 5¼ in. (3.4 cm.) to 4¼ in. (10.6 cm.) high; another of a female bust, 3¾ in. (9.6 cm.) high; a standing figure of a woman with right hand to her breast, wearing stephane, peplos and himation folded over her left arm, 9 7/8 in. (25cm.) high, all early/mid 5th Century B.C.; and a Hellenistic fragmentary group with a naked figure of Eros(?) and a draped female figure wearing foliate wreath and earrings, with orange, pink and blue colouring, mounted, 5 1/8 in. (11.5 cm.) high, circa 3rd Century B.C. (6)
