The asymetrical rocaille and floral-scrolled base and circular lidded inkwell with C-scrolls and flowering finial, flanked by Cupid in a plumed foliate helmet, holding an arrow, seated on a trunk base with a hidden drawer and floral oak branch, the base issuing scrolled and foliate asymetrical branches with foliate drip-pans and upswept acanthus-shaped nozzles with polychrome porcelain flowerheads, signed to the reverse, 'Caffieri fecit 1759', restorations and minor losses to porcelain, the putto and inkwell probably associated and adapted
