A CELADON JADE RAM GROUP
18th century
Carved as two rams lying back to back with heads turned sharply over their shoulder to look at each other, holding gnarled branches in their mouths, one issuing two peaches and large curling leaves and the other issuing bunches of grapes, with lingzhi in place of horns, their hooves folded beneath them, the stone of even tone with areas of well- used russet inclusions
