A PAIR OF LARGE FAMILLE ROSE BEAKER VASES
18th Century
Each of slightly tapering cylindrical shape spreading towards the foot below the widely flaring rim, enamelled on both sides with a leaf-shaped panel enclosing peony issuing from pierced rockwork on a terrace and divided by smaller cartouches enclosing peony sprays, all reserved on a powder-blue ground embellished with gilt prunus-heads on cracked-ice pattern, neck crack, gilding rubbed in places
