maker's mark of 6th Artel, Moscow, 1908-1917
Each bowl decorated on the reverse with shaded blue, green and brown foliage and geometric designs on a yellow ground with green and blue ground borders, the stem with a central band of laurel leaves on pale yellow ground, the finial with a foliate band on matted ground, with spirally fluted stem between, white metal marked on each stem, in fitted wood case stamped 'Iosif Marshak Kiev'
