An oval dish from the Banqueting Service of the Imperial Order of Saint Alexander Nevskii
by the Gardner Factory, 18th century, with underglaze blue factory mark
of basket form with pierced rims and gilt waved borders the centre of the interior painted with the star of the Order, the exterior moulded with painted ribbon of the Order with foliate scrolls, the handles shaped as brown branches with leaves and flowers in low relief, moulded gilt base.
