Admiral Sir Aubrey Smith (1872-1957) was Naval Attach to Russia, Sweden and Norway, with headquarters in St. Petersburg, from 1908 to 1912; he was appointed to the battleship Ralmillies in 1920 which he commanded during the evacuation of the Russian volunteer forces from Novorossiisk and other Black Sea ports.
