A comparable drawing by Silvestre was exhibited at the Louvre, J.F. Méjanès in Acquisitions du Cabinet de Dessins, 1973-1983, Paris, 1984, no. 65, illustrated. The Louvre drawing was part of an album of 128 drawings from the Silvestre family, the majority of which are by Nicolas-Charles de Silvestre.
