The reeded uprights with foliate scrolled ends, molded panelled doors and rich flamed veneers all appear on the suite of library bookcases supplied by Gillows for Wilbraham Egerton (d.1856) at Tatton Park, Cheshire in 1811 (N. Goodison and J. Hardy, 'Gillows at Tatton Park, F.H.S.J., pl.6A and B, 7A and B).
