In two parts: the upper section with molded cornice above a conforming case fitted with two short drawers over three cockbeaded long drawers; the lower section with mid-molding over three short drawers above a shaped skirt, on baluster and trumpet turned legs with ball feet joined by flat, curved stretchers; the surface japanned with exotic oriental landscape and animals on a faux tortoiseshell ground, with later paint decoration
