The hood with molded arched pediment centering a line-inlaid keystone surmounted by a central eagle finial and side urn finials above an arched glazed door opening to a white-painted dial with Arabic and Roman chapter rings enclosing a sweep seconds hand and calendar day aperture surmounted by a lunette embellished with a painted bird, the spandrels embellished with painted roses all flanked by collonettes over a waisted case with bookend and oval inlaid frieze and an arched thumbmolded cupboard door centering oval inlay flanked by fluted quarter columns above a box base with circular inlay over a shaped apron, on French feet, lacking fret, feet reduced
