Autographs, three autograph signatures of Salmon P. Chase and two of William Dennison, each on separate document as Governor of Ohio, both of Dennison's are appointments for a Wm. S. Pierson, who was apparently Commandant of Johnson's Island, all show slight wear though still a fine-very fine group, Salmon P. Chase was later Secretary of the Treasury under Lincoln's first administration and a member of The Supreme Court; Dennison was later second Postmaster General under Lincoln's first administrationest.
