LATE 19TH/EARLY 20TH CENTURY, BEARING BLUE INTERLACED L'S MARK
Printed in colours with portraits of François Ier and the ladies of the French Court from the 15th - 18th centuries, each reserved within a gilt foliate scroll and trellis diaper cartouche, with chamois-line fitted turquoise leather case, comprising:
A circular tray, ground colour scratch at rim, wear to gilt edge, 19in. (48.2cm.) diam.
A hot-milk jug and cover, 7½in. (19cm.) high
A large sugar-bowl and cover, verticle crack the height of the bowl through one portrait, 6½in. high
Six cups and saucers, two cups broken and restored, restored chips to four saucers (15)
