Pan of Rohallion, the first in a series of fountain figures sculpted by MacMonnies in the 1890's, was designed for Rohallion, Edward Adams' summer estate which was designed by Stanford White. One of the artist's most successful models, it was edited by both French and American foundries in several sizes.
