The circular enamelled dial with roman and arabic chapters signed Le Roi à Paris, the twin barrel movement with countwheel strike on bell and anchor escapement with sunburst-cast pendulum, flanked by sphinxes on underscrolled uprights with Egyptian caryatid supports on a shaped rectangular plinth with anthemia-cast frieze on bun feet, losses, dial re-enamelled
