Comprising a vase of fanggu form carved in shallow relief on the knop with two taotie masks between incised scroll-filled blades on the spreading neck and foot, with a dragon crawling up one of the narrow sides, the other vase of ewer form rising from the back of a phoenix standing atop a crouching pig-like animal, with a small chilong on the reverse of the neck, all supported on a base carved as a flattened section of tree trunk, the stone of milky yellowish tone with some russet veining
