The thin-walled vessel of compressed globular form well carved in shallow relief with a band of detached, alternating flower sprigs rising from a band of overlapping leaf tips carved above the flower-head base, with a band of pendent, conjoined bell-shaped flowers on the shoulder below a band of shallow fluting encircling the short neck, the diagonally set spout carved with eight facets and the pair of small handles carved as flower sprigs, the translucent stone highly polished and of whitish tone with some pale russet veining
