Of cushion form, the top well carved with a scene of immortals and attendants in a garden setting surrounded by trees and with mountains in the distance, many of the figures carrying 'auspicious' objects, including peaches, lingzhi fungus and a shou character, encircled by a band of shou diaper and a band of 'auspicious' symbols above panels of various seasonal flowers separated by the bajixiang on the sides of the cover and the box, all reserved on diaper grounds, the interior and base lacquered in black
