The rectangular field woven with a central contorted five-clawed dragon surrounded by nine further dragons amidst flaming pearls and clouds, all within an inner border of overlapping stylized waves and an outer border of wavy lines extending to the edges, picked out in muted tones of aubergine, green, brown, amber and rust, reserved on a pale golden-brown ground, woven with a five-character inscription at the top reading, Jing ren gong yuyong, which may be translated, 'For use in the Hall of Bright Benevolence', some wear
