The long softwood plank top with upturned 'bird's tail' ends and supported on a bamboo armature comprising two rectangular box-frames, each on one side with four legs joined by a plain trellis and a series of struts connecting the front and back, the wide front apron under the top centered by a shou medallion flanked by panels of trellis patterns
